Oxford Chelt Wine School uses four main venues, all very centrally located, one in Oxford, and two in Cheltenham, and one in Stow-on-the-Wold.
Both our Evening Wine Tastings & Saturday Wine Courses in Oxford are held at St Peter's College, New Inn Hall Street, Oxford OX1 2DL. Located in the heart of Oxford round the corner from Carfax, St Peter's combines the traditions of an Oxford College with intimacy and style. We have exclusive use EITHER of the wood-panelled Dorfman Centre OR the more intimate Theberge Room for our tastings, while lunches on Saturday are held in the comfort of the Senior Common Room. All guests enter the college at the Porter's Lodge on New Inn Hall Street, where they will be directed to the correct room for our tasting.

If you are driving to Oxford for a Saturday course, there is a car park within a 5-minute walk of St Peter's College (Worcester Street) but please note, this costs ca £25 for up to 24 hours. We recommend making use of one of Oxford's 5 Park and Ride services; leave your car for a nominal fee and take the bus into the city centre. The closest Park and Ride to St Peter's is at Seacourt on the west side of town and is open 24 hours a day; the 400 bus usually takes less than 15 minutes to bring you into the centre of town (get off at New Road for St Peter's).
If you are planning on spending the night in Oxford, consider staying in an Oxford college (some colleges make rooms available to the public outside term time - that's about half the year!). To make a booking, go to Universityrooms.com. If you want more conventional hotel accommodation, see what VisitOxfordshire has to offer.
Our Evening Wine Tastings in Cheltenham are held in the Dining Room of the Wyastone Townhouse, a fine restored Victorian townhouse in the fashionable district of Montpellier (Parabola Road, GL50 3AJ). Located a short walk from the bus station and restaurants in the centre of town, it also has ample unrestricted street parking after 6pm. Cheltenham Spa railway station is less than 20 minutes walk away (5 minutes by cab). For a Google map showing the location of the Wyastone Townhouse, please click here. The Wyastone is a 5 Star Guest House with 16 stylish rooms with free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs; it also has an attractive courtyard garden, an ideal place to relax and unwind. If you are coming into Cheltenham for a tasting and would like a room, contact Lydia at firstname.lastname@example.org mentioning that you are attending a tasting.
Our Saturday wine tasting days in Cheltenham make use of the Harcourt Room, the private function room upstairs at the new Star Bistro on Royal Crescent. This hidden gem in the heart of a regency terrace in the very centre of town is National Star’s second eating establishment following StarBistro at the National Star College in Ullenwood. We are delighted to be working with StarBistro; as well as serving some of the finest food in the Cotswolds, the bistros give young people with disabilities the opportunity to gain real work experience in a genuine hospitality environment.

Our venue in Stow-on-the-Wold is The Old Stocks Inn. Nestled in the heart of Stow-on-the-Wold, this boutique hotel is luxurious and not stuffy. For our Saturday tasting we use a private room. The Old Stocks serves up hearty British cuisine. A number of rooms are available should you wish to stay on after the tasting. To book please contact: email@example.com or phone: 01451 830666
