1. Evening tastings take place in our own room at The Oxford English Centre, 66 Banbury Road, Oxford, OX2 6PR (diagonally opposite Gee's Restaurant). If you are travelling from the centre of Oxford, buses are available every 10 minutes from Magdalen Street. Parking is also available on site, accessed from Norham Road - take the second turning after entering the road from Banbury Road and park behind the building. If you are driiving in from outside Oxford, you may want to use the Park and Ride, the closest being on the north side of town at Pear Tree. From there, take the 300 bus and get off at Canterbury Road (OEC is a 5 minute walk from this bus stop). For more info on the P&R services, click here: Park and Ride services.
2. Saturday daytime tastings take place upstairs in our own room at Arbequina, 74 Cowley Road, Oxford OX4 1JB. This is at the centre-of-town end of Cowley Road and less than 20 minutes walk from Carfax. There is no parking unfortunately on site and since public parking is very expensive, we recommend using either the Park and Ride (the closest is Thornhill on the east side of town) OR using the JustPark app.
Please note: when you arrive at Arbequina, don't be fooled by the shopfront "R.A. Neville" etc. When refurbishing the building recently, the owners uncovered this old sign which had been painted over, and decided to keep it...you are in the right place! (see photo)
If you are planning on spending the night in Oxford, consider staying in an Oxford college (some colleges make rooms available to the public outside term time - that's about half the year!). To make a booking, go to Universityrooms.com. If you want more conventional hotel accommodation, see what VisitOxfordshire has to offer.
