FUNDRAISER at Star Bistro 29th March
“I can certainly see that you know your wine. Most of the guests who stay here wouldn't know the difference between Bordeaux and Claret.” Basil Fawlty
Can you taste the difference between Champagne and Cava?!? Of course, that’s easy! What about Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay? Not so sure? Come and join us for an evening of surprises, fun and a little enlightenment, while sipping some delicious wines and enjoying some scrumptious food from the kitchens of StarBistro on Royal Crescent, all hosted by Oxford Chelt Wine School’s Nick Gay. Don’t worry if you can’t tell your Bordeaux from your Claret(!)
The competition will be in teams of 5 or 6 (singles and couples will be made into teams, or you can make up a team yourself!) and we will include a wine trivia quiz AND some non-alcoholic drinks for those who just want to sniff but not taste.
This fantastic event costs £30/head including food, from 7.00pm to 9.30pm at StarBistro on Royal Crescent.
There are limited places available, so please book now to avoid disappointment.
